Gosh...i dont even KNOW where to begin....... probabaly by saying that i am SOOOOOOOOOO damn proud of my boyfriend Steve...you have no idea!

OK back story....my BF got into a drunk driving accident killing one person in the other vehicle. He got arrested for vehicular homicide and spent 5 years in prison..and 3 years probation. B4 the accident..he was a HUGE drinker..he partied HARD! Now...5 years in prison..may not change SOME men..but it did him.

Today.. Steve has been doing great...not a drop...at all! Not only doesnt he drink anymore, but he goes and does talks to people that are in counslings. He is also on a board for AA awareness. He had stated to someone that he wanted to be even MORE involved in things so she talked to a few people and steve had an interview kind of thing today for something new!

Now...not only am i proud of him..for everything he has accomplished with his life SO far, BUT he is now the head of the drug court alumni program. Basically what it is, is someone is going through a court hearing..and it is drug related, they get reffered to the drug court. The drug court is a bunch of people * the heads of ceritan departments....for example parole/probation...the DA...the head of social services...the head of day programs...and a judge...ect..* that take thier lunch breaks on mondays...and use them to work on these cases. The people have to pass a bunch of things and then after a year of being sober ..they *graduate* and some of the charges get dropped. Well..they were having a slight problem with people coming back as re-offenders...so basically what steve is doing..is starting a sort of NA group that these graduates or alumni can go to, to help them reastablish thier life so they dont go back to thier * old ways* and end up back in court. He is starting it from the ground up.

Im sitting here..grinning from ear to ear from being so proud..and watching him talk about it..and seeing that twinkle in his eye...i can tell he is excited about it! although nervous at the same time...he thinks there is a * standard* and he wont measure up.. ( which is complete crap..lol...i just have to convince HIM of that).

Gawds....im just so damn in love...its amazing..lmfao

I am not sure who all has seen this movie...but i think it is one of the greatest things out there.  This movie is called * the secret*.  There is a great change coming in this world..and thanks to people like ellen..and oprah..it is being excepted by the * main stream* and it is about time!   There is such a positive message in the movie, and IMO this is exactly what the world NEEDS!  I love the fact that this movie transcends ALL religions!   It doesnt matter WHAT religion you are..you can still follow this!  AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING!

Im excited about the changes that this will make in the world!  Cant wait to see what happens next

I would LOVE to hear from other people who have seen or heard about this movie!
